Recently, I’ve resumed developing k-inv (https://github.com/lucky-sideburn) for a feature that has interested me a lot, and I wanted to write some code to try it out.
I am convinced that all companies, as much as possible, should adopt controlled chaos engineering techniques, even in development teams. Therefore, I decided to equip kubeinvaders with metrics and charts to monitor the status of an HTTP endpoint during chaos engineering sessions. The goal is to observe in real-time how the elapsed time and HTTP status code of calls to a URL change during a chaos experiment. I am planning to include many more metrics and improve the programming part of the experiments via yaml…
Work in progress!
Special thanks to our friends at platformengineering.it with whom we started a very interesting roadmap and for publishing the official demo here https://kubeinvaders.platformengineering.it/
